Mumbai:
A trainer with a prominent gymnasium was on Monday arrested for allegedly molesting a real estate firm's project manager inside the gym at suburban Khar, police said.
The accused Nitesh More (28), attached with the Khar branch of Leena Mogre's gymnasium, was arrested after the FIR as registered by the 31-year-old victim, police said.
According to the complainant, the incident took place on November 4 inside the gym.
"The victim told us that while working out at the gym she felt More was trying to touch her. After a while, he touched her inappropriately. She reported the matter to the owner of the gym but in vain," Sanjay Surve, Inspector at Khar Police Station said.
The complainant then left for South Africa along with her husband to attend a family wedding. She returned on November 29 following which she enquired if any action was taken against the trainer. But she learnt that no action was taken, Surve said.
Finally she approached the Khar police today and lodged a complaint, the police officer said adding that subsequently, the accused was arrested.
