Jaipur: A Mumbai police team visited the house of artist Chintan Upadhayay, a "prime suspect" in the murder of his estranged wife Hema Upadhayay and her lawyer, in Jaipur to meet his parents in connection with the case.
A team of Mumbai police had visited Chintan's father Vidyasagar Upadhayay in his house in Nirman Nagar yesterday, officials from Shyam Nagar police station said.
Vidyasagar, also a noted artist, said that "he has nothing to say on the issue."
Chintan was arrested yesterday by the Mumbai police in connection with the murder of Hema (43) and her lawyer Harish Bhambhani (65) in Mumbai.
The twin murders came to light on December 12.
