Mumbai : A woman advocate was arrested by the Mumbai Police today for assaulting a policewoman.
The incident occurred at around 5: 30 pm when Rohini Dandekar, an advocate at the Bombay High Court, reportedly got into an argument with constable Jyoti Gaikwad, after she was subjected to frisking outside the court premises- part of the mandatory security check.
Ms Dandekar soon started abusing Ms Gaikwad and later hit the constable with her slippers.
The advocate has been arrested and sent to 14 days' judicial custody.
