Mumbai:
Four crew members of a Jet Airways flight have allegedly been caught smuggling cigarettes into the United Kingdom.
The crew members were operating a flight from Delhi to London. They were detained by customs officials in London for a day but have been released.
More details are awaited but in the meantime, Jet Airways issued this statement: "We have a strict employee code of conduct which is based on the values and ethos of the airline....A full-fledged investigation will be ensued based on specific inputs from concerned departments and agencies. Any violation of this policy will lead to severe disciplinary action."
