A man was booked for allegedly flashing at minor girls residing in a building opposite his in Mumbra locality of Maharashtra's Thane district, police said today.
A Mumbra police official said that accused Mohammad Ansari, 50, had flashed at these girls, in the age group of 8-9 years, from the window of his residence on Sunday afternoon.
The children complained to their parents who then approached police, he said.
Ansari, who is unemployed, is currently absconding and efforts were on to nab him, the official said.
A case has been registered against him for stalking and other offences under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, Thane police spokesperson Sukhada Narkar said.
