Mumbai: A 20-year-old college student today fell to death from the 19th floor apartment of his friend in south Mumbai, police said.
The deceased was identified as Dhwanil Shroff, son of a stock broker, police said, adding that, "We are also probing if it was a case of suicide."
According to Gamdevi police, Dhwanil along with nine other friends last night went to the house of his friend, whose parents had gone out of the city.
The group partied all through the night in the house at Woodland Building on Peddar Road, police said adding that Shroff went to the kitchen at about 4 am but did not return.
Not finding Shroff in the kitchen, the panicked friends rushed to the ground floor when they saw him in a pool of blood, police said adding that the youth was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead before admission.
