Mumbai: A teenager was arrested today by the Mumbai police for allegedly killing his classmate.
The accused and the 16-year-old victim, who are both students of a government school in western suburban Mumbai, were attending their tuition class last evening when they reportedly got into an argument.
The accused was allegedly threatening his classmate that he would complain to the teacher that the latter was skipping school on the pretext of being ill. This argument escalated into a scuffle, in which the victim was critically injured.
Their tuition teacher rushed the injured boy to Nanavati hospital, however, he succumbed to his injuries later.
