Mumbai:
A 29-year-old executive of a Mumbai based multinational company was allegedly raped at a well-known resort in Lonavla last Saturday.
The victim, a resident of Mumbai, was part of 270 employees of the MNC that visited the resort for a three-day conference.
"The incident took place between midnight and 3 am. The suspect entered the room and raped her," police said.
Last Sunday, the victim and her parents came to Pune and lodged a case.
The police sent the victim to Sassoon hospital for medical examination. The victim suspects that an employee of the resort might have raped her, an officer said.
