Mumbai:
Four people have died and eight others injured after a seven-storey building caught fire in Vikhroli, a Mumbai suburb.
The fire, according to officials, was noticed around 3 am and could have started in the electric meter cable box and spread through the network of cables from there.
The fire was put out at around 6:30 am.
Everyone from the building has been evacuated. Some of the injured have been taken to the Rajawadi Hospital , according to authorities.
The building that caught fire was a Slum Redevelopment Structure.
