Mumbai: Three officials of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation were arrested today in connection with the Mazgaon building collapse.
Deputy Superintendent BS Chavan, Assistants Engineer Rahul Jadhav and Market Inspector Jamil Kazi were arrested today by the Mumbai Police.
Chavan and Kazi were suspended on Sunday night itself.
Jadhav was among the 18 against whom the BMC had recommended an inquiry.
61 people died when the building collapsed on September 27.
