Mumbai:
One of the partners of Club Escape in Andheri (West) was shot at by two unidentified men on Wednesday night.
Police said that around 10 pm, BR Shetty left from the establishment in his Skoda. When he reached the Tanishq showroom near Infiniti mall in Oshiwara, two unidentified men on a motorbike opened fire on him. One of the three bullets hit Mr Shetty on the shoulder. Onlookers took him to Kokilaben hospital where he is currently recuperating.
"The victim is still in a critical condition. We are yet to ascertain the motive behind the crime as Shetty had made no complaints about any threats that he may have received," an officer from Amboli police station said.
Mr Shetty owns a chain of restaurants in Andheri and Goregaon.
