A model-turned-costume designer was found in a well at a beach resort in Mumbai, police said.
Anil Cherian had gone to attend a party hosted to celebrate the birthday of his friend's cousin. The event was organised on Saturday night in a resort at Gorai beach in the suburbs, police said.
Mr Cherian had arrived for the party late in the night. However, when he failed to reach home on Sunday, his wife filed a missing person's complaint with Santacruz police.
While Santacruz police were investigating the matter, cops from Gorai informed them that his body was spotted floating in a well within the resort's compound. His body was later sent for post-mortem.
Mr Cherian worked as a costume designer for a film "Bold Bollywood", said to be inspired by the life of Jiah Khan, who committed suicide in June.
