Mumbai: Self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa has been booked by the police in Mumbai in yet another case -- involving alleged sexual harassment, obscenity and criminal intimidation.
The First Information Report was filed late on Tuesday evening following a complaint by Bigg Boss alumnus Dolly Bindra. Besides Radhe Maa, 19 others have been named in the case, which was registered at the Borivili police station.
On August 11, Ms Bindra had tweeted that she was no longer a devotee of Radhe Maa. The 45-year-old actor had also alleged that Radhe Maa and her associates were a threat to her family.
Radhe Maa, 50, whose real name is Sukhvinder Kaur, has already been booked in a dowry harassment case. She was questioned by the police for over four hours on August 14.
A 32-year-old woman had alleged that she was "mentally and physically tortured" by her husband's family at the instance of Radhe Maa. Radhe Maa denied the allegation, claiming she was being dragged into the matter because the woman's in-laws were her "devotees."
While she was being questioned, the Bombay High Court granted her anticipatory bail, which ensured she would not be arrested for the next two weeks.
Last week, the court had asked the city police to file an affidavit stating what steps they have taken regarding the complaints received against Radhe Maa.
