A phase wise demolition and reconstruction of the bridge is being carried out by BMC.
One person was injured after a portion of skywalk that was under repairs near Mumbai's Charni Road station, fell on him this evening, a senior civic official said.
The person has been admitted to the nearby G T hospital and is out of danger, said the official, adding that the municipal staff has already reached the spot.
He said phase wise demolition and reconstruction of the skywalk is being carried out by the Bridge department of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation or BMC.
