Maharashtra Tourism Minister Chhagan Bhujbal today unveiled a life-size wax statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj here. The function was held at the Exia Event Lounge at the Marine Drive.
The statue has been created by Sunil Kandalloor, a renowned wax artist, who said this is the first statue of Shivaji to be made in wax in India. Kandalloor is associated with the Celebrity Wax Museum of Lonavala in the Pune district.
