Mumbai:
A speeding BMW car hit two policemen at a checkpoint in Gamdevi in south Mumbai at 1:30 am today. Both constables have sustained injuries and are in hospital.
The car was being stopped at a checkpoint when the incident took place. The car, allegedly, did not stop.
A driver and a woman were inside the car. The driver has been booked for rash and negligent driving and for driving under the influence of alcohol.
He will be produced in a local court later today.
