Mumbai:
A 74-year-old man died and two constables were seriously injured after they were hit by a speeding car in Mumbai early this morning.
The accused, Yash, police say, is 17-year-old and a student on Jai Hind college in Mumbai. Police also say that Yash was driving his father's Honda City, but lost control of the vehicle.
The accident happened around 7.30 am in the Marine drive area of south Mumbai. The car has been seized and Yash has been booked for rash and negligent driving.
His father, who runs an export business, will be questioned on why he gave his car to his son, the police say.
