At least 14 people were injured after a portion of an under-construction flyover collapsed in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex this morning.
All those who were injured were rushed to a nearby hospital and their condition is stable, the city's civic body- the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) - said in statement, news agency ANI reported.
The flyover collapsed at around 4.40 am.
Visuals shared by news agency ANI showed the chaos at the accident site amid rescue operations.
No person is missing, and no loss of life has been reported so far, police officer Manjunath Singe told ANI.
The flyover is being constructed at MTNL junction in suburban Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and will connect the complex's main road and Santa Cruz- Chembur Link road.
The construction work of the flyover is being undertaken by Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).
