Mumbai:
South African cricketer Wayne Parnell on Monday surrendered before the Mumbai Sessions court. He is one of the accused in last year's Juhu rave party case.
The court granted him bail against a bond of Rs. 10,000.
The police had raided a party at Oakwood Hotel in suburban Juhu in May last year and rounded up 86 people for alleged consumption of drugs. During the raid, the police had also seized 110 grams of cocaine and MDMA from the hotel.
On March 6, the police filed 1,200 pages of chargesheet against 86 people. 35 of them, including Parnell, are shown as accused.
Apart from Wayne Parnell, cricketer Rahul Sharma, TV actor Apurva Agnihotri, fashion designer Rocky S and former cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi's son also tested positive.
