Muzaffarnagar: BJP activists burnt an effigy of party leader and Bijnor MP Bhartendra Singh in Bhopa village near here, allegedly for misbehaving with a BJP youth wing leader.
Singh misbehaved with district president Nitish Malik (of BJP youth wing) when the latter apprised him on phone that party activists are not getting ration at a fair price shop, divisional president of the wing Ankur Pal alleged.
The activists who burnt Singh's dummy yesterday in Bhopa village, under Bijnor district on Muzaffarnagar border, also raised slogans against him.
