Muzaffarnagar:
A Dalit couple allegedly committed suicide in Ahmandpur village in Prabhudhnagar district over a family dispute, police said in Muzaffarnagar on Friday.
Sonia, who had frequent quarrels with her mother-in-law, committed suicide on Thursday by setting herself on fire, they said.
Seeing his wife dying, her husband Arun consumed poison, they said.
Both were rushed to hospital where they were declared brought dead, they said.
Police is investigating the matter.
