Muzaffarnagar: An elderly couple allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison over family dispute at Dulhera Village in Muzaffarnagar district, police said today.
Asaram (73) and his wife Kamla Devi (70) consumed poison together at their residence yesterday, following which both were rushed to hospital where they were declared dead, police said.
Meanwhile in another case of suicide, a woman allegedly consumed poison over family dispute at Phulat Village under Ratenpuri police station in the district, police said today.
Munni committed suicide yesterday and was rushed to medical college where she declared dead. No report has been registered in this connection.
