A man has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a court here for murdering the chairman of the Shamli Cane Society two years ago.
Additional District and Sessions Juge Lukmanulhaq also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on the convict Ravinder Kumar yesterday.
The chairman of Shamli Cane Society Dharmender Nirwal was shot dead in his office in Shamli on July 22, 2012.
