Muzaffarnagar:
A woman police constable allegedly attempted suicide by consuming poison in Khatoli town in the district, police said today.
The constable was rushed to a hospital in Meerut yesterday in a serious condition.
The woman was slated to get married in June, police said, adding they are investigating the reasons behind the constable taking the step.
The constable, who hailed from Meerut district, was posted at Khatoli police station.
