Muzaffarnagar:
A police sub-inspector has been suspended for allegedly outraging religious sentiments of a community here in the district, police said today.
The incident took place last evening when Bhudeo Sharma in an inebriated condition tore and burnt some religious books, they said.
Following the protest by the locals, Sharma was suspended, they said.
