Muzaffarnagar:
Six persons were sentenced to life term for murdering two brothers over old enmity by a local court in Muzaffarnagar.
Additional District Sessions Judge Lokender Rathi held Prakasha, Ramesh, Neki, Mahipal, Surta and Jagbir guilty of the killings on Thursday and also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on each of the accused.
The four other accused were acquitted due to lack of evidence.
According to prosecutor M Anjum Khan, two brothers Nakli and Jai Singh were shot dead over an old enmity at Attiterwada village in Shamli district by the accused on May 25, 2000.
