Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh:
A 40-year-old widow was allegedly stabbed to death and her daughter injured by her nephew over an illicit relationship at Kalyanpur village in Muzaffarnagar, police said on Sunday.
The incident took place yesterday when Ruksana was stabbed by her nephew Gulzar following a heated arguement between them over her illicit relationship with another man, they said.
Ruksana's daughter sustained injuries in a bid to save her. Later, the accused surrendered before police and confessed his crime, they said, adding that a case had been registered against him.
