Ticket checker throws couple out of running train, husband dies

Muzaffarpur: A couple from Bihar was thrown out of a running train at Allahabad for travelling in a reserved coach without proper tickets leading to the death of the husband, GRP sources said on Thursday.

In an FIR, Malti Devi said she and her husband Rameshwar Mandal were thrown out of the New Delhi-Darbhanga Swatantra Senani Express on Wednesday injuring both of them. Though the guard stopped the train the husband succumbed to injuries.

The FIR was lodged with the GRP here this morning against the TTE.
    
The victim, hailing from Saharsa district in Bihar, had a general ticket from Allahabad to Bhagalpur.

The GRP said the reason behind the incident was being ascertained.
