Greater Noida: A blanket of fog on the Noida-Agra Yamuna Expressway today caught 20 vehicles in a massive pile-up and left around 30 people injured.
The vehicles smashed into each other near Bhaipur in Jewar close to Greater Noida, the police said.
"Around 20 vehicles collided in a series on the left side of the Yamuna Expressway towards Agra," a police officer said.
The accident was triggered by a collision between a government bus and a truck. "A bus of the Uttar Pradesh Roadways going from Noida to Agra hit the truck. A number of vehicles collided in a series," the officer said.
The injured are being treated at Kailash Hospital in Greater Noida.
