Noida: A 22-year-old woman alleged that she was sexually assaulted by her live-in partner on the pretext of marriage, after which a local court on Monday asked police to file a rape case against him.
The victim also alleged that she had gone to police to lodge her complaint but was sent back, after which she moved the court to get the order of filing the FIR.
In her complaint, the Jharkhand woman stated that she and her boyfriend from Gurgaon, who worked in the same factory, were living together since February this year after he had promised to marry her.
The boyfriend maintained a physical relationship with her since then but of late, their ties turned sour and he would often beat the woman during frequent quarrels, she alleged in her complaint.
The man also refused to marry her, she alleged.
Police said it will lodge the FIR as soon as the copy of court order is received, and manhunt will be subsequently launched to arrest the accused.
