Noida: A 35-year-old woman leaped to her death from her 8th floor apartment in Noida, police said on Wednesday.
The woman, identified as Shweta, was in a live-in relationship with Delhi man Isa Khan and later with Mukesh Soni, a multinational company executive. After a brief fight with Soni late on Tuesday, she jumped from the balcony of her Kailashdham Society flat in Sector 50 here, police said.
Noida Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Praveen Kumar told IANS that the deceased was from Baghpat. She had divorced her husband a few years back and was living with her six-year-old daughter Saheba ever since.
The body has been sent for autopsy. Based on a complaint by Shweta's brother, police have arrested Mukesh Soni.
