One elephant killed, another injured in accident on Noida expressway

Noida: A 40-year-old male elephant was killed after it was hit by a truck in a road accident on Noida expressway, near Delhi today.

Another elephant was also injured in the incident. The body of the elephant on the road caused traffic snarls.

The dead elephant had to be lifted by a crane to clear off the road.
