Noida:
A 25-year-old man committed suicide by consuming a poisonous substance outside the Noida district court soon after he was awarded life term in a murder case on Saturday.
Parvez Alam gulped the poison which he had managed to conceal from the policemen escorting him.
"Police brought him at around 6 PM, following which he was declared dead. They told doctors that he had consumed some substance," duty officer at the district hospital said, adding that the exact cause of the death is pending post-mortem.
