Noida:
Six persons were arrested on Thursday with 10 cartons of smuggled liquor in raids conducted by district excise department team in Noida.
Village Gadhi Shahdara and nearby areas were raided by the team, Kuldeep Yadav, District Excise Officer said.
Ten cartons of smuggled liquor having 500 quarter bottles of Haryana made alcohol were seized and six smugglers were arrested, the DEO said.
As Haryana and Delhi liquor is cheap, UP liquor mafias smuggle it into Noida, he said.
