Noida: A software engineer was shot at in Noida near Delhi on Sunday evening, allegedly after an argument on the road over their bike being hit by another.
The police say Chandrapal and his wife Pallavi, who work in the same office, were on their way home when at Sector 60 of Noida, their motorcycle was hit by another bike that was apparently trying to overtake them.
Chandrapal reportedly asked the bikers to be careful, after which an argument broke out. According to the police, the bike driver then pulled out a gun and shot at the engineer before driving away.
Pallavi called the police control room and Chandrapal was taken to a hospital.
"They shot at my husband twice. The second bullet hit him in the foot," said Pallavi.
