With the season turning quickly ripe, here are Conde Nast Traveller's recommendations for the world's premium and supremely private seaside getaways--for your picking. This may be your sunny chance to really leave it all behind; Robinson Crusoe didn't have it this good.

Lizard Island, Great Barrier Reef, Australia

This luxury island resort is consistently rated as one of Australia's best, providing a front row seat to the charms of the Great Barrier Reef. The resort has 40 rooms, suites and villas connected by wooden walkways and incredible dive sites, like Code Hole, are located close by. With as many as 24 beaches to choose from, it's highly probable that you'll have an entire beach unto yourself. Celebrities like Russell Crowe love spending quality time here--if there ever was a paparazzi-free zone, this one certainly qualifies.

Necker Island, Caribbean, British Virgin Islands

A long time ago, before Richard Branson was known as Sir Richard Branson, the enterprising entrepreneur found himself falling in love with this isolated paradise so much so that he subsequently bought it outright; over 33 years ago. This Caribbean gem now functions as an exclusive resort with high profile guests--Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg and Prince Charles--visiting often. Ensuring utmost privacy, it's usually rented out as a whole to a family or group of friends. Only during what's called 'Celebration Weeks' can individual rooms be booked by visitors. Stay at the Great House located at the heart of the island and surrounded by turquoise waters, coral reefs and fringed with white-sand beaches. Other housing options include three beach hut-style cottages--Bali Hi, Bali Lo and Bali Cliff--which offer an al fresco lounge and dining area with, that right, more privacy.

Agatti Island, Lakshadweep, India

Considered 'secluded' by Indian standards, we recommend you make your way to Agatti Island not just because it's isolated but also because it's a breeze to get there and back. With Lakshadweep's only airport located on this island, direct flights ferry in from Kochi and Bengaluru daily. This perfectly picturesque hideaway's 7km long beach stretch offers the winning combination of fine golden sand and emerald waters. Enjoy its extraordinary underwater life by enrolling at Agatti Island Beach Resort's dive center--this sandy island escape is located right on the beachfront. What more could you ask for?
