It's meant to be a day full of love, roses, hearts, teddy bears and heartfelt messages and so it was -
bas thoda hatt-ke.
From NASA to celebrities, politicians to business tycoons, everyone was smitten by the love bug. Here are 10 of the most unconventional yet beautiful Valentine's Day messages shared on Sunday.
1. NASA pulled out all stops this year to make this Valentine's Day a celestial one. A regular bouquet of flowers won't do when feast you can your eyes on these magnificent outer space 'roses' - a silvery-white one composed of different galaxies and another ruby red one, made up of the spinning vortex of Saturn's north polar storm. Howard Wolowitz and Rajesh Koothrappali from The Big Bang Theory should say it with these 'flowers.'

2. If you think a celestial bouquet is hard to beat, take a look at these actual flowers grown and nursed in space. Special does not even begin to define this.
3. These pictures of Mars and Pluto suggest that space is filled with hearts and candies. Aawww...

4. For Facebook superboss Mark Zuckerberg, his pet Beast was his Valentine. Just look at him, mop-like, sitting with his treats in a heart-shaped box. Forget Zuck, will you be our Valentine, Beast?
5. Actor Vin Diesel may be busy shooting for
xXx: The Return of Xander Cage with actress Deepika Padukone but he took time out to celebrate the special day with his daughter Pauline on her first V-Day.
6. Just like Vin, actress Drew Barrymore also celebrated Valentine's Day with a miniature edition of herself - her daughter Frankie.
7. Hillary Clinton shared a black and white throwback picture of her with husband Bill. Over 40 years with one Valentine, isn't that the goal? Double tap to that, we say.
8. Making it a memorable Valentine's Day, supermodel Tyra Banks shared the first picture of her baby, York, on Instagram. "This is the Happiest Valentine's Day of my life," she wrote on the photo sharing social networking site.
9.
Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar shared this picture of stars Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma from the upcoming film. Could fans ask for a better Valentine's Day gift? We think not!
10. And if you think that's too much mush for a day gone by, check out the way actor Uday Chopra wished actress Nargis Fakhri on Valentine's Day. Umm, eww?
