Search giant Google has formed a parent company called 'Alphabet' which will include the search unit along with other enterprises. And while chief executive Larry Page will hold the same title at Alphabet, India-born Sundar Pichai will be the new Google CEO.
Now it's quite interesting that Google chose to name its parent company 'Alphabet', seeing as how the company literally owns all the letters of the writing system, from A to Z.
Starting with the new company - A for Alphabet - down to even the X, Y, Z for X Labs, YouTube and Zeitgeist respectively, Google has every letter in its pocket.
We found this image shared on Reddit about a year ago (that's obviously going viral today) listing all the different products/companies of Google, from A to Z. While an update is definitely in order, the list still makes for an interesting read.
The letter J, in case you are wondering, could stand for the Jump VR Video Cameras. All the others are right in front of you.
