Six skydivers play Quidditch 14000ft above ground level, complete with brooms, a 'quaffle' and a hoop. (YouTube/ETB)
Good news for all Harry Potter fans out there. You don't need to be a witch or a wizard to fly on broomsticks. You also don't need "foolish wand-waving or silly incantations," as Professor Snape would say, to play Quidditch. A group of muggles just managed to pull off the coolest Harry Potter stunt ever and you can try it too - provided you are not faint of heart.
A video, originally published on April 26 but going viral now, shows six skydivers playing Quidditch 14000ft above ground level, complete with brooms, a 'quaffle' and a hoop. They even divided themselves in two teams - red to represent Gryffindor and blue for Ravenclaw.
Alright, so Potter Nazis may say a Quidditch team has seven members and what about the 'bludger' and 'snitch'? But come on, this is the closest muggles have come to ever playing the magical game without relying on photoshop or camera trickery so let's make that 150 points to both teams, yes? Golden Snitch not required.
The video is actually an ad by a Columbian telecommunication company named ETB. And in case you're wondering, it is meant to sell YouTube services on certain Internet plans. Well, that's literally jumping through hoops to sell people broadband, right?
Take a look at the video below and feel very jealous.
