All This Grandmother Wants is to Share Two Spoonfuls of Love

It is said that everything gets better with a hug and food.

In an age of long working hours and increasing demands of daily life, we look for a little bit of respite at the end of the day. Those of us who have given up the comfort of our homes and moved to different cities usually look forward to only one thing - ghar ka khana, just a bite or two of home cooked food, made with love.

Playing on this very thought, Fortune Foods has come out with a new ad that everyone can relate to. They show a Dadi with a walking stick laboring up a flight of stairs at a hospital. Dadi makes the climb everyday only to feed her grandson two spoonfuls of dal made by her.

Each day, without fail, she carries a small tiffin to the hospital and tries to convince the nurse to let her feed the patient "just two spoonfuls" of some home cooked food. The nurse refuses each time.

After Dadi's methods of persuasion fail, she does something special for the nurse - after which, she doesn't have the heart to say no to two spoonfuls of home comfort, cooked and served with love.
