London:
Americans may take pride in being global leaders, but when it comes to bed they are considered one of the world's worst lovers as women find them "too rough" says a new survey.
According to the latest survey by global research website OnePoll.com, Latin countries came top in the 'best lover' list, with Spain at number one, followed by Brazil, Italy and France.
'Unhygienic' German men have been voted the worst in bed, followed by the 'lazy' English. However, English men make better lovers than the Germans.
Around 15,000 women from 20 countries participated in the survey which asked them to rate nations on their talent in the bedroom and give reasons for their answers, reported Daily Mail.
Women voted Swedish men as 'too quick', while men from Scotland were termed as "too loud". Men from Turkey were considered 'sweaty' and their Russian counterparts were termed as 'hairy'.
"Welltravelled lovers have named and shamed those blokes who don't satisfy them between the sheets. These results are an eye-opener for thousands of men around the world and female travellers might judge potential new lovers by looking at these results," a spokesman for OnePoll.com commented on the survey.
