A still from The Angry Birds Movie
Anger management was never more fun. The Angry Birds Movie, which is all set to release in India later this month, has been granted a 'UA' certificate by the Censor Board - fans and gamers alike, rejoice.
While the 3D animated avian adventure is still awaited, Angry Bird references are flooding the Internet. The big furry birds in bright red and yellow with pointy beaks are a hit with kids and adults both and everyone is cashing in.
That includes US President Barack Obama. POTUS recently referenced the Angry Birds game in a speech at a summit in Washington DC. "Thanks to Nordic innovators, we share our music on Spotify, stay in touch by Skype, and millions spend what would otherwise be productive hours on Minecraft, Angry Birds and Candy Crush," he said.

Meanwhile, TV host Jimmy Fallon thinks he's cracked why the birds are so angry.
Famous fans also include actress Sonakshi Sinha, who posted a picture with a giant Angry Bird on Instagram.
Some fans are also creating food versions of Angry Birds. From sushi to pizza slices to creamy cookies - this is the flavour of the month.
