Someone on Twitter thought it wise to pay the foreign minister a 'sarcastic' (his word, not ours) and back-handed compliment. Ms Swaraj wasn't having any of it and rightly so.
@SushmaSwaraj are you real? Just checking. You don't meet requirement of being Indian politician. You are concerned about us(Indians).

Ms Swaraj responded because she never ignores anybody who tweets her, and the answering post was framed in her usual calm and composed manner.
Please do not have such notions. Indian politicians are sensitive and very helpful. https://t.co/9U0Rdxvn8q

Setting the record straight, one tweet at a time.
Since replying some 13 hours ago, Ms Swaraj's tweet has been retweeted over 350 times and received more than 1,000 'likes.'
While several on Twitter agreed with Sushma Swaraj, many others said the minister was actually an exception to the norm.

@sumantbalgi For once I disagree with @SushmaSwaraj .She has redefined the role of a minister or rather the only one doing her duty well

Ms Swaraj has won a lot of praise for replying to people's SOS messages on Twitter. She sometimes also gets bizarre requests from people asking for help with their refrigerators or cars. The minister almost always has a reply for anyone who reaches out to her, even to those wanting assistance out of her purview.
