If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear flowers in your hair. Failing SFO, Goa will do. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal traded his preferred accessory - his muffler (it's summertime and the weather is fine, hello?) - for a crown of flowers and the pictures left Twitter absolutely delighted on Tuesday.
Mr Kejriwal is visiting Goa for two days to drum up support for his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in next year's elections. He was reportedly welcomed to the state on Tuesday by local fishermen, who presented him with the floral offering, traditionally worn in the ongoing local festival of San Joao.
It seems Mr Kejriwal liked his crown of flowers so much, he addressed the media while still wearing it. Not surprisingly, Twitter's attention was devoted to the wreath on his head and not on the words coming out of his mouth. From wondering if he had finally joined Snapchat to comparing him with Pakistani singer Taher Shah, social media is smelling (of) roses.
Here are some of the funniest tweets on the Delhi Chief Minister's floral accessory:
