The heartwarming moment a baby elephant wades through water to save his human best friend from 'drowning' has been caught on camera and loved by millions (2.2 million to be precise) online.
Shared on October 12, the video shows the wonderful bond between Kham Lha, the elephant, and his trainer, Darrick.
Footage captured at the Elephant Nature Park in Northern Thailand shows the trainer swimming in water. Kham Lha, in the meantime, misunderstands and thinks Darrick needs help. So the elephant rushes to rescue her human, almost as if it were a reflex action.
It's incredible to watch the elephant embrace Darrick when she finally reaches him.
