According to various reports, the picture shows hairdresser Francis "Franz" Jacob lying on the floor in an attempt to cut his client, Wyatt Lafreniere's hair. ''Usually hairdressers sort of panicked when they saw Wyatt arrive, so it was really exceptional to meet Mr Jacob,'' Ms Lafreniere told CBS News. ''He welcomes him like his best friend. To see that he accepts these differences is just fantastic,'' she added.

Mr Jacob also understands what works with Wyatt. "Each time I'm doing Wyatt's hair, he's always going on the ground, moving around, sitting on his mom's lap, standing beside the chair," he told National Post. "That's why I have a wireless clipper now, because at first I had to follow Wyatt around and plug my clipper into (different outlets)."

Now, the online world has been left touched by the hairdresser going out of his way to accommodate the little boy. Since being posted, the picture has collected over 1.5 lakh views and a ton of positive comments.

"As a police officer that encounters people on the autistic spectrum on a regular basis, this absolutely warms my heart," says one commenter on Imgur. "Because of stuff like this on here, ive been motivated to do my fair share of random kindness over the years," says another.

"As someone who is helping raise a young child with autism this warms my heart to see. Upvote a million times!" says one Imgur user on the photo. "Thanks for going the extra mile," says another.
