A snippet from a 2014 tribute concert to A R Rahman has recently been posted on YouTube and is currently trending. The Berklee Indian Ensemble's stirring rendition of the Rahman composition Kun Faya Kun features a multicultural choir dressed in festive red and ivory Indian outfits.
The Berklee Indian Ensemble is one of several performing groups from the Berklee College of Music in Boston and is made up of vocalists and musicians from several countries.
In October 2014, they performed a Rahman-special concert in Boston's Symphony Hall, with a cameo by Rahman himself. The set list consisted of his greatest hits, from Roja's Chhoti Si Asha to the title track of Rang De Basanti.
