Born to browse: This baby leaves his parents bewildered
New Delhi: Planning to have a baby? Beware! The time isn't far when newborns will check into Facebook the moment they 'poke' their way out of the womb. Or at least this is what an internet company will have you believe as it seeks to showcase its lightning speed in a new video commercial campaign.

While toddlers using computers and smartphones have ceased to amaze a world that pretends to have seen it all, a new commercial - now viral on the web, can brag of being as unique as it is humorous.

Titled 'Internet Baby', the 'protagonist' turns to the web with panache the moment he pops out into his new world. Out goes the umbilical cord as per Google's instructions. Up go the pictures of him posing with the nurse on Instagram and in go photographic evidence of the collapsed doctor into phone memory records.  While the parents watch in gaping disbelief, the baby uploads his escapades on the web - streaming and sharing like he was born to browse.

While the emphasis of the commercial is on the blazing speed of the internet, the blazing speed of human evolution cannot be discounted either. What was considered impossible a decade ago is being mastered effortlessly by younger generations. And while our internet baby may be getting 'cho-chweet' smiles today, let's just be ready for the possibility that the following video may become all too real in the not-so-distant future...
