China's "Brave Men's" Bridge isn't for the faint of either heart or head.

The Haohan Qiao or "Brave Men's" Bridge in China's Hunan Province is built over a vertigo-inducing height of 180 meters. But that's not why you need to be a daredevil to cross it. The floor of the bridge, all 300 meters of it, is made completely of glass.

Believed to be the world's first fully-transparent glass drawbridge, it was originally made out of wood. But in a bid to introduce a more thrilling experience for tourists, the floor of the bridge was changed to a glass surface.

"We've made the bridge in such a way that even if tourists bounce on it, nothing will happen to it," a construction worker who helped build the bridge told Chinanews.com. "Moreover, the steel framework is very strong. So even if the glass cracks, visitors walking over it will not fall down," he added. OK then, good to know.

Take a look at how an 11-member team re-constructed this terrifying bridge:

According to Chinanews.com, each of the glass sheets used is 24 mm thick, 25 times stronger than ordinary glass, and extremely impact resistant.
