Jasmine Sandhu got her dog Tobie's portrait incorporated in her mehendi.
Jasmine Sandhu married Ricky Gill on May 27, but the Internet only recently discovered something about her wedding celebrations that has everyone 'ooh-ing' and 'aah-ing' over it. The bride decided to incorporate her doggy's portrait into her shaadi ki mehendi, and the result was absolutely adorable. "I joke with my husband that Tobie is definitely our first born. I couldn't imagine my life without him," says the bride whose pictures have gone viral on social media.
Jasmine and Tobie have been together for four years now.
"About 4 years ago my aunt had purchased a home and found my Tobie in a crate left behind by the previous owners... The moment I laid eyes on him I knew he was mine. The little fur ball easily won my whole family over and has become a true part of our family," said Jasmine to NDTV.
The happy bride, who got married in Orange County, California, says that she came across Prashanta of 'Divya Henna' and saw pictures of another bride with a doggy portrait in her mehendi on their Instagram. "I knew immediately I was going to book her and I had to have Tobie in my bridal mehndi."
"I wanted both hands to look identical with matching Tobies, but Prashanta told me to trust her and that she would incorporate Ricky and me in one hand's design. I was blown away when I saw the end result," said Jasmine.
"He's our pride and joy," says Jasmine, and we can see why.
"Wow! This is amazing," writes one user on an Instagram picture of her mehendi design. "Awww, that's incredible!" says another.
